depressionIt is normal to feel low or depressed sometimes. Usually the feeling passes after some time.

However sometimes the feelings do not go away and it becomes increasingly difficult to cope with the demands of daily life. This may be the point at which it is important to seek help.

Signs of depression include:

  • Feeling sad, or being tearful
  • Having trouble sleeping
  • Losing interest in things you usually enjoy
  • Having trouble concentrating
  • Loss of energy
  • Feeling worthless, or guilty

  • Having thoughts about suicide or death
