Although we cannot see you face-to-face at this time, we want to make sure we can still provide you with the support you need. To help us do this please read the guidance below to prepare for your appointment over the phone:
- You will need a quiet and confidential space, where possible, to speak to someone for about half an hour. If this is going to be difficult, your practitioner can discuss this with you when they call. Your initial appointment will be a telephone call, however if you would prefer, you can request a video call for your therapeutic sessions.
- If you have given us consent to do so, we will send you a text message to remind you about your appointment two days before it is due. If you have not given us consent, our admin team aim to call you the week of your appointment.
- We will call you at the time of your appointment, if you do not answer the call we will try again within the first 10 minutes of your appointment time. If we cannot speak to you we will, where possible, leave you a voicemail asking you to call us back. If you do call back, our admin team will let you know how to re-book your appointment.
- At the start of each of your appointments we will ask you to complete two short questionnaires about your symptoms to help us to decide how best to support you. The questionnaires are available to view below. Please have a look at these questionnaires in advance of your appointment as it will assist us to complete them in a timely way.
Patient Health Questionnaire 9 (PHQ9)
Generalised Anxiety Disorder 7
