I benefitted from the service massively with it exceeding all my expectations. My therapist was so lovely and helpful. I felt that they always listened to my concerns and always had an answer to my worries. I feel my anxiety has improved massively since undergoing talking therapy.
My practitioner helped me to overcome my fears and anxieties. They helped me to put my fear into perspective and I have started to move forward and get my old self back.
I very much welcomed the opportunity to talk to someone about how I was feeling in the knowledge that I would receive the support and tools/techniques to help me. Through using the skills that I have learned over the weeks, I feel so much better and have the confidence to put the skills into action when needed or even just to take a moment in my day to relax and take a breath.

I really liked having the worksheets to read through so I could spend time actually thinking through my problems during the period of time between appointments. I then really appreciated my therapist talking me through what I wrote and actually listened to what I had to say.
My experience has been a very positive one. My therapist listened to my concerns and has helped me change the way in which I frame and manage my anxiety, this in turn has helped me sleep better which was the main reason I went to my GP. I have learnt tools to better manage my heightened emotions that are a result of my anxiety.
I am really glad that I decided to have the therapy, it give me the opportunity to really open up and talk about my thoughts, experiences and feelings. I feel it has helped me to make some choices too which have been challenging but rewarding for me.

The feedback we receive from patients, carers and members of the public is reviewed to help us understand what we do well and where we can improve. Below is some of the feedback we have received and how it has been used to make changes:
We have received feedback from patients that completing wellbeing outcome measures in sessions is too time consuming.
We have now automated this system and patients can complete the questionnaires prior to their appointment. There is still the option to ‘opt out’ if needed.
We have received feedback from patients that you would like to be offered the choice of completing your treatment face-to-face, online or by telephone.
Following on from the Covid-19 pandemic, we are now able to offer the choice in most areas of Salford, please let our Business Support Team know your preference when you call to arrange your appointment.
