We all experience difficult times in our lives and talking to someone can help, we support people who are experiencing stress, anxiety and depression. Our sessions are delivered in community venues and GP practices across Salford. We can also support you via telephone and video appointments. You will be asked about your preference when you book in for your appointment.
We provide NHS funded talking therapies to people over the age of 16 within Salford. Normally our services are accessed via a GP or health professional referral, however if you are having difficulties please call us directly and we can discuss your options.
Our Talking Therapies Services
Our service will typically include an initial appointment to assess your needs, then, if we are best suited to help you there are a range of options available including online therapy, group or individual sessions.
Sometimes referred to as Silvercloud, this therapy involves an online course of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. The course is flexible, effective and easy to use.
Learn skills to manage and overcome the symptoms of anxiety and get knowledge and support for depression or low moods.
This course offers a flexible approach, using no set appointment times but instead fortnightly online reviews with a practitioner.
This is a six-week, group programme designed to help individuals deal more effectively with anxiety, depression, or relationship difficulties. A typical session involves focusing on personal goals for therapy. The course consists of six sessions and will be attended by people experiencing some form of anxiety, low-mood or similar problem. People don’t have to interact or share information with other patients if they don’t want to.

One to One
Work one-to-one with a psychological wellbeing practitioner (PWP). This will typically include 6-8 sessions conducted face to face or via an online tool such as Zoom or Teams.
